Yes, we offer scholarships through the state: the Cleveland Scholarship, the EdChoice Traditional Scholarship, and the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship.

We also offer the LSGOO scholarship and private, need-based financial aid.

Q: What is a Lutheran school? Is that Christian? 

Yes, Lutheran schools are Christian. Our religion curriculum is bible-based. Lutherans have a long history of starting and supporting schools.

Q: I see that you share the building with Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Do I have to be a member in order to send my child to your school?

No, you don't have to be a member to send your child to Lakewood Lutheran School. You are welcome to attend Gethsemane Lutheran Church.

Q: Do you have a hot lunch program?

Yes, we offer hot lunch on Fridays, and include kid-friendly items such as pizza and hot dogs.

Q: What about extended care? Do you offer early or late stay?

Yes! Early stay begins at 7:30 am.

Late stay lasts until 5:30 pm.

Q: What about preschool? I have a preschool-aged child, too.

Our sister school, Grace Lutheran Preschool, is just a 3-minute drive east on Madison and offers a high-quality curriculum.
