About me : Mrs. Cukelj holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Baldwin Wallace University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Ursuline College. She is certified in Ohio to teach Kindergarten through eighth grade as well as Kindergarten through twelfth grade in Specific Learning Disabilities and Severe Behavior Disorders. Before joining the LLS family, she had taught, tutored and volunteered at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church and School, her home congregation, since 1999. She has also worked professionally as a healthcare space planner and project manager for clients at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Mrs. Cukelj, her husband, and two daughters live in Strongsville. Her interests include instrumental (piano) and choral music (Go Altos!), as well as watching old movies. A self-professed “History Nerd” and “Word Geek”, she is passionate about teaching and learning “His” story, as our Lord is in fact, the ultimate protagonist in every event throughout the ages. She delights in adding new words to her vocabulary “collection.”

My Mission Statement : My mission as a teacher as well as a parent is to help young people achieve their highest, God-given potential, in order to enable them to serve God and His creation joyfully, passionately and fully so that, as we petition in the Lord’s Prayer, we may all contribute to making “His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven” a reality, God willing.
